Artober Fest 24’

Join us for the 2nd Annual Artoberfest in Petersburg, Virginia, Saturday October 7th from 6-9 PM at the Appomattox Iron Works!

This year sees a host of collaborations bringing you a unique art experience in the Tri-Cities. Highlights include light projections by Alex Criqui and Dustin Klein, live music by Rodney Stith and LIV (Life is Valuable), various installations and works by regional artists, lantern making with 1708 Gallery, kids art activities with the Petersburg Area Art League, food by VA Furnace Pizza and Beanuts Donuts & Hot Dogs, beer from Trapezium and Three Notch'd Brewing, and more!

The Appomattox Iron Works is a special outdoor event venue in the heart of Petersburg. Enjoy the sights of large-scale works created by Alex Criqui and Dustin Klein projected on the side of an old factory building. Immerse yourself in the sounds of Rodney "The Soul Singer" Stith and an improvised soundscape to accompany the projections by LIV, a music mentorship non-profit working with regional youth. Explore art by various regional artists at the art market. Build your own lantern with 1708 Gallery and fuel that creative spark in the kids with activities by the Petersburg Area Art League. This is a free community event for all ages, so bring the whole family!
